What to Expect
You may notice that we enjoy 6 generations gathering at our church. We try to give each other room to express our worship in our own 'voice.' Our music is mixed with Hymns and Contemporary songs that are meaningful to everyone.
Our service lasts around 90 minutes and reflects a balance of Word and Sacraments. The first half of the service we give glory to God through our praise, listening to the scriptures and praying for our community.
The second half of the service is a weekly observance of Holy Communion that brings us into the presence of Christ and His love for us.
A nursery is lovingly provided. Children aged 5 to 11 have age appropriate teaching during the reading of scripture and the sermon. The children come back in at announcements to enjoy Communion as a family.
Our Holy Communion is open to all baptized Christians who believe they meet Jesus Christ in the breaking of the bread. Just as the two men saw Jesus on the road to Emmaus. (Luke 24:13-32)
People dress from casual to a bit more formal depending on how they were raised. Whatever you wear, dressed up to respect God or dressed down to feel comfortable with God, let it all be to glorify Him.
