Deacon Dan Thompson

Dan and Terri moved to the Eastern Shore in 2018 and joined Apostles in 2019. Dan was a minister in another denomination for 30 years, pastoring a church in Minneapolis for nearly 20 years before moving to Daphne. Dan transferred his ordination into the Gulf Atlantic Diocese and became an ordained vocational deacon in 2020.

He serves Church of the Apostles as deacon and team lead for the missions effort at the church. He also serves the Gulf Atlantic Diocese as Associate for Global Missions. Church of the Apostles asked him to bring his years of pastoral experience to help with Holy Spirit Anglican during this season in the life of the church.

Dan and Terri have three grown sons and two grandchildren.

Reverend Monica Napoli Warren

Monica’s faith was formed early and deeply—long before she imagined it would shape her life’s work. She is passionate about telling God’s story in Scripture, helping people know how deeply they are loved by God. She believes the church is called to become God’s radical community here on earth—rooted in love, shaped by worship, and sent out for the sake of the world. Alongside her ministry at Holy Spirit, Monica teaches religion at the University of South Alabama and is completing a Doctor of Ministry at Houston Theological Seminary. She is a devoted wife to her husband, Claude, a proud mom of two, and a very happy Mimi to three.

Donna Rogers, Music Minister

Teaching and music ministry have always been central to Donna’s life. She taught for 38 years at every level, from elementary school through college. In 1984, she founded the Adaptive Education Program for students with learning disabilities at McGill-Toolen Catholic High School. Donna began playing the organ for a post chapel at the age of 14 and continued throughout high school and college, returning to it frequently throughout her adult life.

After moving to Mobile in 1980, she served as organist and choir director at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, Cottage Hill Presbyterian Church, and now Holy Spirit Anglican Church. She especially enjoys ensemble work and finds deep joy in worshiping God through music.

Gloria Hennigan, Office Administrator

Gloria has been at HSAC since 2019 serving as office administrator. She is gifted at keeping the week to week ministries of the church flowing and is welcoming to all who call on the church. She brings a warm atmosphere to the office for all who come in during the day.
