Prayer

Prayer is central to the life of the Church and to our life together in Christ. Through prayer, we offer our praise and thanksgiving to God, seek His mercy and guidance, and bring before Him the needs of the world and of one another.

Our Prayer Ministry exists to uphold the parish and the wider community in faithful, confident prayer. Rooted in Scripture and shaped by the Anglican tradition, this ministry draws from the richness of the Book of Common Prayer and the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit. We believe that God hears and responds to the prayers of His people, always according to His perfect will.

Members of our Prayer Ministry commit to praying regularly for requests shared within the church, including concerns related to illness, grief, discernment, thanksgiving, and ongoing spiritual needs. Prayer requests may be shared publicly or kept confidential, and all are handled with care, discretion, and compassion.

Prayer is not reserved for times of difficulty alone. We encourage prayers of thanksgiving, intercession, confession, and praise, trusting that God is at work in every season of life. Whether offered privately, corporately, or during our worship services, prayer unites us as the Body of Christ and draws us deeper into faithful dependence on Him.

If you would like to submit a prayer request or learn more about participating in the Prayer Ministry, please contact the church office or speak with a member of the clergy.
